Dr. Lonnie Barbach is an internationally renowned psychologist and pioneer in the area of female sexuality. Her Ph. D. in Clinical-Social Psychology is from the Wright Institute, Berkeley, California. Currently on the clinical faculty of the University of California, Medical School in San Francisco, she also has a private practice specializing in the treatment of sexual and relationship problems with couples and individuals. Dr. Barback originated women's programs for pro-orgasmic group treatment and is the author, coauthor, or editor of numerous best sellers, including For Yourself and Women Discover Orgasm, classics in the field of female sexuality, and Going the Distance: Finding & Keeping Lifelong Love written with her husband David L.
