Kathleen A. Giacalone is a registered nurse. She lives in New Jersey with her two grown sons; her daughter lives in Maryland. The author is employed as a telemetry nurse in an area medical center. She has specialized in crisis intervention and been a group leader for Panic Relief, a non profit organization that offers education and support for people suffering from panic attacks and avoidance. After conquering a severe panic disorder and recovering from substance abuse, she is free finally to pursue her passion for antiques and enjoy music and reading.
