Don H. Fontenelle, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in the New Orleans area with more than 27 years of experience. He has devoted most of his professional career to working with children and their parents. Dr. Fontenelle is married and the father of two adult sons. Author of 13 popular books on raising children, Dr. Fontenelle lectures throughout the country. His books are written for parents and teachers. Five have been translated and published in French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. Dr. Fontenelle received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University. He has served as a consultant for numerous children’s programs in the New Orleans area and has offered many workshops for teachers and parents on various aspects of child/adolescent behavior. He is in private practice and has an office in Metairie, Louisiana.
